JSC “Belgorkhimprom” is one of the few Belarusian companies working on a complex basis: from execution of research works, survey works and buildings and facilities inspection to elaboration of design and estimate documentation and undergoing of examination. To carry out research and development works the institute has scientific and technical and material resources available, including up-to-date devices, equipment and computers. The origin

An open joint-stock company “Belgorkhimprom” was established on December 31,1996 according to the order No 660 of the Minsk City Committee on Management of State Property and Privatization. In the process of privatization of the Belarussian Research and Design Institute on Mining and Chemical Industry for solving matters connected with development of potash industry in the Republic of Belarus. The Charter of the open joint-stock company was approved by Minsk City Executive Committee and was registered on May 26, 2000 issue No 574. Today the institute “Belgorkhimprom” is the leader in scientific and design provision for potash industry in Belarus and manufacture of phosphoric fertilizers in Gomel Chemical Plant and etc. For more than of 30 years work experience the institute “Belgorkhimprom” has accumulated great experience of improvement and reorganization in mining manufacture. The institute design and research subdivisions possess considerable scientific and technical potential in the spheres of mining manufacture, processing of mineral resources and in the construction industry.

All carried out scientific and research operations and worked out design and estimation documentation are based on the generalized experience of foremost specialized organizations, leading in their spheres. Lately the institute has extended the sphere of its activity and nowadays works in new directions, connected with production of liquid biofuel on the basis of vegetable oils, granulated polyethylene. On the instructions of the National Academy of Sciences “Belgorkhimprom” studies the possibilities of developing of new deposits of minerals (brown coal, phosphorites, tripoli and others). “Belgorkhimprom” is the general designer of objects in building, reconstruction and major repairs of industrial assignment of mining branch in a Production Amalgamation “Belaruskaliy” and other enterprises (including objects of the 1st class responsibility) and also objects of housing and civil assignment. Administration of “Belgorkhimprom” is situated in Minsk (design and research devisions) and there is a branch in Soligosk (Minsk region).

THE INSTITUTE CARRIES OUT THE FOLLOWING KINDS OF ACTIVITY

The pursuit of project and prospect activity with the realization of the functions of the chief projector. Design works for building, expansion, reconstruction and repair of the objects for different purposes. Projection of gas-supply systems. Projection of boiler-houses with steam boilers with the pressure till 1,4 MPa and water-heating boilers with heat-productivity till 581,5 MWt. Topographical works. Projection (construction) of lifting equipments for mines (mechanized lifting devices of vertical and inclined outputs of a mine). Projection (construction) of mining equipment. Exploitation of drilling equipment (self-propelled drilling installment). Start and adjusting operations of protection control systems and control of electrotechnical equipment (till 10 kW). Diagnostics of the electrical equipment. Projection of automatic fire alarm systems. Projection of automatic fire extinction systems. Diagnostics of mining lifting equipment. Production of equipment and electro-installments for mining manufactures and processes, where self-generation of dangerously explosive means is possible (i.e. electrical equipment and automation, communication, notification and control equipment in mine normal conditions). Repair of mining equipment (i.e. hydraulic equipment, mechanisms and joints of mining equipment). Projection of objects of working out deposits of natural resources (water operating wells, special wells). Building (creation) and exploitation of the network of departmental radio communication. Projection of mining manufactures and objects of natural resources deposits working, and also special underground constructions – i.e. speleo clinics. Projection of line constructions of local telephone connection. Projection of manufactures and objects, on what production of dangerously explosive means is possible, and also manufactures and objects with harmful substances (except dangerously explosive manufactures with blocks of 1st and 2nd categories of explosive danger). Projection (construction) of equipment and electro-installments for mining manufactures. Carrying out conveyor ribbon testing for fire danger and fire resistance according to the State Standards 20-85. On start and adjusting operations of equipment and electro-installments for chemical manufactures and processes, where formation of dangerously explosive means is possible (systems of automation, Automation Control Systems in Technical Processes). Realization of research and technical activity for providing fire safety according to enclosure. The institute has all necessary documents for activities, which are to be licensed according to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus N 17 of 14.07.2003.
