Projects

All works of the institute are carried out combined: from working out initial data for separate projects carrying out research and inspection operations till conducting examination of implemented operations according to the order and author’s supervision of objects construction.

The Design Division has the following departments in its structure:

“Belgorkhimprom” solves problems of storaging and using of potash industry’s waste products:
  • high-altitude storage of firm waste products;
  • combined storage of sludge's and halite waste products of potash industry;
  • constructions of sludge storages of higher capacity at weal basis on mining territory, their re-cultivation and conservation;
  • pumping in surplus brines to absorbing mining levels;
  • production of technical and common salt from halite wastes.


“Belgorkhimprom” by the efforts of its own production departments and sectors, research divisions and also computer center office-workers designs:
  • underground and surface objects of a mine;
  • objects of ore concentration and ore treatment sets;
  • objects of chemical production, objects of production with participation of toxic and inflammable substances;
  • transportation of dry and powder- like substances during production process;
  • different storages for keeping of dry and powder-like substances without containers;
  • depositories for liquid and solid industrial waste products;

“Belgorkhimprom” works out:

  • construction documentation for substandard and mining equipment;
  • recommendations for concealing, conservation, and re-cultivation of chemical production waste;

  • standards and recommendations for mining and chemical production.


«Belgorkhimprom» performs:
  • engineering-geological and topographical investigations for construction;
  • inspection of industrial and civil buildings, creating project documentation for strengthening and repairing of buildings;
  • technical certification of industrial utilities.


With the purpose of PA “Belaruskaliy” production facilities support and expansion of source of raw materials an architectural project on construction of Krasnoslobodsky mine was developed by the specialists of “Belgorkhimprom” during one year. Special actions on reduction of the period of design and construction of Krasnoslobodsky mine were elaborated to carry out the order of the President. More than 20 scientific and planning organizations were involved in analogous project while constructing the 4th Oremanagement. The project on construction of Krasnoslobodsky mine is a unique one, because such development was not performed during the last 35 years in the world practice. Putting into operation this object will help to PA “Belaruskaliy” to save its production facilities and the market. Having necessary technical base and involving leading organizations of the Republic “Belgorkhimprom” performs development of the CAD system for Krasnoslobodsky mine construction control and adopting engineering decisions while its operation.
With the purpose of provision the existing level of potash fertilizers production and keeping the reached volume of fertilizers export of our country at the international market, taking into account possible demands in conformity with the State Scientific- Technical Programme “Mineral Feterlizers” “Belgorkhimprom” will continue the development of feasibility study for attracting investments into the construction of potash enterprise of a new technico-economical level on extraction and processing of silvinit ore at the Nezhinsky district of Starobinsky deposit.



During fulfillment of State Scientific-Technical Programme “Mineral Fertilizers”:
  • new technologies of production of new types of complex water-soluble chlorine-free fertilizers for hothouses are tested;
  • experimental and technico-economic research of principally new phosphoric extraction method on the Belarussian deposits are hold;
  • non-acid technologies on phosphoric flour processing into complex fertilizers are worked out;
  • general scheme of potash branch development till 2050—2060 is worked out , including research in alternative variants of source of raw materials development of PA “Belaruskaliy”;
  • physico-mechanical basis for estimation of strength abilities of total resources of potash minerals (ores) and ores of new deposits is being developed;
  • new methods of potash branch waste storing are being examined.

Putting into operation the objects, designed by “Belgorkhimprom” gives a sufficient effect to the enterprises-customers.
For example:
  • the project “ Gas Supply of the 4th Ore-management and Soligorsky district” allows to reduce the production expenses at the 4th Oreadministration in the item “Fuel” by 1,4 billion roulbes per year;
  • the project “Production of technical salt” at the 4th Ore-management of PA “Belaruskaliy” allows to decrease annual maintenance expenses for maintenance and running of the equipment by 295,9 million roubles; to reduce energy consumption by 113,9 thousand kW-hr or by 9,5 million roubles;
  • the project “Plant on rape processing, the productive capacity 18 thousand tons per year at the JSC “Grodnokhleboproduct ” in Skidel allows to receive an annual net profit in the amount of 810 million roubles and provides taxes payment to the budget.
    Investment expenses are compensated during 5 years due to net profit.

MINING DEPARTMENT
The basic lines of the mining department activity are the participation in projection related to the underground and quarry operations, and making engineering conclusions on the mining industry and equipment work.
A list of works for the last 10 years:
  • New mines in the Krasnoslobodsky and Berezovsky areas of the Starobin deposit development program.
  • Underground rock salt development at the operating plant with the conditions being grounded.
  • The potash mines reconstruction program:
    a) the 1st horizon of the 1st potash group of enterprises opening (main direction drift repair, organization of the experimental-industrial mine to work off the mining bed technology with the testing selective longwall being put in and treating blocks for the heading-and-stall method prepared);
    b) the processing equipment at the loading complex stations pit shafts updating (batching plant - 264 m, 1st potash group of enterprises - underground bin commissioning and the batchers installation with efficiency up to 2000 tons/h);
    c) the program of the main paths drifting with the transport casting equipment installed, efficiency 1500 tons/h (4th potash group of enterprises, horizon - 670 m);
    d) the waste warehousing at the specially allotted zones (on the surface - in the salt burrows, in the mines - in the excavations).
  • The program for the source of raw materials RUE “PA “Belaruskaliy” expansion and the deposits of the Republic of Belarus development:
    à) the reserves of the 4th potash horizon development in conditions of the RUE “PA “Belaruskaliy” allotment;
    b) the potash minerals of Nezhinsky area development;
    c) Mstislavl phosphorite deposit development;
    d) Khotislavl deposit of the silica sand and chalk development;
    e) brown coal and gypsum development at the Brinev deposit with the conditions being developed.
  • Designing of the mining fixed pulling units and ventilation installations.
  • Designing of the shaft deepening by special methods.
  • Participation in tenders for the mining equipment purchase.
  • Development of the program for the RUE “PA “Belaruskaliy” enterprises expansion.
  • The undermining objects protective measures development.
  • The objects related to no mining operations arrangement in the gobs.

CHEMICAL-ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT
Chemical-engineering department carries out the processing works in the following directions:
  • Potassium salts concentration technique.
  • Glass-making silica sand production technique.
  • Mortar sand production technique.
  • Rape oil, table refined oil, biofuel production technique based on the rape oil.
  • Hydrate of sodium, polyvinylchloride (PVCh) production technique and the work pieces based on PVCh.
  • Complex NPK-fertilizers production technique.
  • Plastic goods production technique (PVCh, polyethylene, etc.).
  • Paint-and-lacquer materials production technique (paint, lacquer, enamel).

THE WATER PIPELINE AND SEWERAGE DEPARTMENT
The water pipeline and sewerage department is a leading one at the institute dealing with the designing of both the water pipeline and sewerage and the waterworks. For these purposes at the department there are 2 subdivisions. The water pipeline and sewerage subdivision deals with the designing of the whole complex providing the water supply and sewerage for the enterprises and other objects (networks, hydraulic works, sewage disposal plants, etc.). The latest major objects developed by the water pipeline and sewerage subdivision are the water supply and sewerage system of the Krasnoslobodsky mine area, Soligorsk storm sewage disposal plants.

The hydraulic engineers subdivisions deals with the multipurpose water-resources schemes and tailing system objects designing (storage ponds, the territories engineering protection against the under flooding and water flood during the mine debugging, sludge warehouses, salt dumps, etc.).

The latest major objects developed by the subdivisions are the sludge warehouse of the 2nd potash group of enterprises, the salt dump of the 2nd potash group of enterprises and the undermining territory engineering protection against the under flooding at the Berezovsky area of the RUE “PA “Belaruskaliy”.

ARCHITECTURAL-CONSTRUCTION DEPARTMENT
The architectural-construction department is manned up by the architects and construction engineers with a high professional level, that being necessary to develop the project documentation of the industrial, housing and civil and social-cultural objects.
The project documentation is being developed in the following directions:
  • Architectural decisions.
  • Interiors.
  • Concrete structures.
  • Metal structures.
  • Wooden structures.
  • Mining and geological grounds for the objects construction on the debugged areas.
  • The structure protection means against the earth surface deformation and the potash horizon debugging hazardous influence.
  • Engineering inspection and strengthening of the buildings structural units.
The department realizes:
  • The mining-chemical industry objects designing.
  • Construction engineering objects designing. Farm production objects designing.
  • Issue of documents for operating manufactures reconstruction.
  • Follow-on for objects construction.

ELECTROTECHNICAL DEPARTMENT
Basic lines of the department’s activity:
The electrotechnical department is composed of the sectors dealing with the designing of the following:
  • electricity supply networks and power supply;
  • communication systems;
  • Automated control system of technological processed (ACS TP).
The electricity supply networks and power supply sector performs the works related to the power supply layouts construction, electrical equipment selection taking into account the categorizing of the buildings outside installations, power supply reliability rating and the mine and chemical industry enterprises development prospect. It makes the settlements, agricultural objects, water supply and sewerage power supply layouts.

The ACS TP sector deals with the automation systems of the petrochemical and metal mining industries engineering objects of the republic designing, including the following:
  • RUE “PA “Belaruskaliy”;
  • JSC “Mozyr petroleum refinery”;
  • JSC ”Lakokraska” (Lida);
  • Gomel chemical works and a number of others.
The projects rest on the wide scale use of the microprocessor technology engineering tools.

The sector includes a commissioning group dealing with the project implementation.

GENERAL LAYOUT AND COMMUNICATIONS DEPARTMENT
Basic lines of the department’s activity:
The subdivision of the General layout and communications department performs the following functions:
  • the general layouts of the industrial enterprises, housing and civil objects, agricultural objects designing;
  • highway and railway design;
  • railway protection means on the undermined territories design.
Heat supply:
  • heat networks design and technological pipelines;
  • boiler-house design;
  • gas supply objects design;
  • heat points designing;
  • petroleum-based fuels, oils, or lubricants warehouses designing;
  • fuel handling equipment designing for boiler-houses.
Heating and ventilation:
  • heating and ventilation of the industrial and municipal buildings engineering, office blocks and public buildings;
  • aspiration systems from the manufacturing equipment designing;
  • air-conditioning systems of public buildings designing.
Environment protection:
  • urban-industrial environment;
  • surface and underground waters protection against the industrial technogenic influence;
  • preservation of the environment from industrial and solid domestic wastes pollution;
  • the ground area regeneration (revegetation).

ENGINEERING SURVEY DEPARTMENT
Basic lines of the department’s activity:

Group of the geodesic and engineering survey performs a full range of the geodesic and engineering survey (geodesic and topographic ones) at the industrial and civil objects, that including the following:
  • topographical survey of the scales 1:500 - 1:5000 and the DEM;
  • line structure routes survey;
  • reclamation projects engineering research followed by the hydraulic works inspection;
  • special works.
The group is supplied with the modern optical devices, tachometers and levels produced by the “Leica” company, computer and copy printers, software, motor transport.

Group of the geological engineering survey. Performs a full range of the geological engineering and hydrogeological survey at the industrial and civil objects, those including the following:
  • well-boring, d - 89 mm - 219 mm;
  • static ground probing;
  • development work (stamps);
  • operating monitoring;
  • office studies and report making.
The group is supplied with the modern shuttle cars, drilling rigs PBU 2-102, URB 2A-2, drilling tool, development and aboratory work equipment, computers and copy printers, software, motor transport.

There are licenses available issued by the Ministry of Architecture and Construction, Committee on the land resources, geodesy and cartography by the Soviet of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus entitling to the geodesic-engineering and geological-engineering survey.

LABORATORY FOR THE PROTECTION OF LABOUR, INDUSTRIAL AND FIRE SAFETY
The laboratory for the labour safety and protection problems of the chemical production was organized in 1998.

The laboratory main lines of activity are the revision of the obsolete, not actual sectoral normative documents and the development of the new technical normative legal acts.

The main objective is the introduction of the modern requirements related to the improved industrial safety, providing the abour safety and protection to the workable documents. The normative documents are worked out in full conformity with the republican and international standards requirements (ISO 9000, ISO 14000 and others).

During the period of the laboratory’s existence the specialists worked out more than 50 technical normative legal acts operating in the concern “Belneftekhim” organizations.

They include the following:
  • Regulations on the plans development of the accidents and breakdowns at the hazardous enterprises localization and elimination.
  • Regulations on the maintenance works and manufacturing equipment of the chemical, oil- refining and gas-transferring industry repair system.
  • Regulations on the further facilities operation time setting.
  • Branch standards of the conveyor transport design and development at the sylvinite concentration plants of the RUE “PA “Belaruskaliy”.
  • Operating manual of the buildings structure of the RUE “PA “Belaruskaliy”.
  • Standard manual on the oxygen cylinders filling and use of them.
  • Preventive fire-fighting regulations of the Republic of Belarus for chemical, petrochemical and oil-refining industries.
  • A package of normative documents related to the militarized gas-saving and anti-flush service.
  • Regulations on the labour protection and industrial safety control system of the concern “Belneftekhim”, etc.
The worked out documents are aimed at the following goals: higher efficiency, industrial stability and reliable facilities operation, higher level of the industrial projects safety operation, repair work minimization, reduced unproductive expenses, energy saving, labour protection and environmental improvement.

The laboratory specialists render any methodical and practical assistance to the working staff of the “Belneftekhim” related to the developed documents realization, problems of the labour protection, industrial and fi re safety.

CONSULTING DEPARTMENT
The consulting department as a structural unit of the JSC “Belgorkhimprom” is organized to provide the coordination and the works performance on the informational, management, engineering and perspective consulting. The Customer’s demands and problems are being analyzed and then solved on the state-of-the-art level. The engineering as an activity category selection is based on the comprehensive approach to the problem solving, beginning from the research to the application of scientific achievements and after-sales service.
Basic lines of the department’s activity:
  • Analysis of the enterprises’ management and information systems, development of the various management procedures, making the standard outlines of the automation projects expansion.
  • Development of the projects for the automation, EDM, economic and information security at the concern’s works.
  • Marketing research to form the correct initial requirements for tenders; analysis of the performance specification for the enterprise requirements compliance; organization and holding of the tender auction; summary preparation for the tender commission meetings.
  • Analysis of the software market, automation packages, control systems for them to be used in various spheres of enterprises’ activity.
  • The objective events, workshops and conferences devoted to the problems of the automation resource management, EDM organization, information and economic security systems organization and holding.
  • Analysis of the project and inline documentation for the automatic control system organization and holding.
  • Organizational management of the technological consulting based on the research and engineering developments.
  • The software application, the automatic control system projects documentation preparation, delivery terms and software support optimization.
  • Energy-saving information control system development.

The estimate department is high-skilled specialists who can professionally and in undertime calculate the project cost on the following lines:

  • hydroengineering;
  • sanitary engineering work.
The construction organization projects of the most complicated objects are made on a qualitative and high level.

Profound special and economic knowledge, ability to apply constantly the new developments to the practice, knack of analytical evaluation of the situation and operative decision-making permit the personnel of the department to work on the projects of the RUE “PA “Belaruskaliy” and other major industrial enterprises of the Republic of Belarus and on the mining industrial objects of the Russian Federation.
